Winemaking In our family goes back four generations, since 1940, Quinta de Tourais itself dates back to the foundation of Portugal, and the presence of monks of the Cistercian order.
Descendants from workers of the land, we continue the work started by our grandparents which has always been associated with the cultivation of vineyards; and reinforces each day how important is our connection to the land. This connection means we respect and use appropriate natural resources, without compromising the future.
Quinta de Tourais has 8 hectares of vineyards and more than 30 different varieties of grape. Our small wine production is based on a clear responsibility for the intervention we have in the vineyard, so as not to compromise our ecosystem and biodiversity.
